For those of you who speak Shibboleth, the current process for creating a WAYFless URL (i,e, one where you don't have to experience the dreaded WAYF) is a bit of a nightmare. they are long, messy, difficult to construct for librarians and easy to break. I want a better solution - something neat like OpenURL - any ideas out there?
You can enter all the relevant parameters and get a fully encoded WAYFless URL back. However it still needs you to know a lot of details - are the general details for each SP in the UK Access Management Federation available anywhere? (preferably in machine readable format)?
